WAEC as part of its efforts to prevent cheating in its examinations has released 2 key warnings for 2023 BECE, WASSCE for School and Private Candidates who will be sitting this year’s respective examinations.
According to WAEC, candidates who break these rules will have to face the consequences that come with it.
This story contains the following:
SPECIAL WARNING ON STARTING AND ENDING A PAPER
When question papers are given out, no candidate should start work before the order to start is given.
Furthermore, when the order “stop work!” is given, candidates should immediately put down their pens or pencils. Any candidate found working before the order is given to start work or order to stop work is given, will be deemed/considered as having committed an irregularity and will be penalized accordingly.
Simply put, do not start work unless you are instructed to do so by WAEC officials and when asked to stop work, obey the order without hesitation.
SPECIAL WARNING ON CENTRE ARRANGEMENT
Candidates sitting the NOVDEC for instance must present their Admission Notices at the Centre assigned to them. Candidates who do not present their Admission Notices will not be allowed to write the examination.
Candidates must write the examination only at centers assigned to them by WAEC. Candidates who write the examination at centers not assigned to them will not get their result(s) processed.
